This was an experimental project that was designed with contemporary architectural design paradigms at play. Notions of the ground plane to object relations, use of geometric projections and anthropomorphic formal identifiers. I was looking to make something cosmic yet ancient, a spaceship crash landing site or some other mysterious object from far reaches of space. The idea was to illustrate a great sense of motion and flow through the use of expressive geometric form and yet have it remain frozen in time. This was mostly a formal and sculptural exercise than anything, produced in a visually captivating cinematic style.
